Ray
was born in Exeter and started his working life working in The Royal Clarence
Hotel and later for an insurance company. He then left Exeter to move
to Banbury where he worked in the administration office of a wig makers.
On returning to Exeter Ray worked for an insurance brokers before setting
up a partnership selling pensions and finance. In 1978 Ray joined his
present company, Dawson News, in Brighton, Littlehampton and Basildon
prior to being appointed as manager of the Exeter branch in March 1990.
Within the Forum Ray is particularly interested in matters concerning
utilities and services.
